Murder by Death

I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.

The Heist (O'Hare and Fox #1)

The Heist - Janet Evanovich, Lee Goldberg

I bought this book with only the expectation that it would be (hopefully) entertaining. After hearing about a few friends' disappointment with it, I started reading the book with even less expectation, so perhaps that is why I can say I enjoyed this read; it isn't deep, it isn't complicated; it certainly isn't in any way realistic but I did have a bit of fun reading it.

It reminded me a whole lot of White Collar, but with guns and boats. Pure fantasy with really no other qualities beyond that.

Would I read another one? Sure. But I'll wait for it to come out in paperback.
