I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
Boy, I hope this book is an indication of just how great this series is going to be. I thoroughly enjoyed this book - the characters are really likeable and the writing put me in the scene almost immediately.
In a lot of books I read I find myself skimming over an over-abundance of internal dialogue but Due or Die had none of that. I will admit to guessing the murderer very quickly, but not the why or the how and I liked how the whole story tied together when I got there.
While I'm a fan of both of Jenn McKinlay's series (the cupcake series) I like this one best and I hope it's a series that will be around for some time to come.
