I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
Ok, now I've got my board, I've got my dice, my game piece, and my first book read. That book was 250 pages long, so it earned me $3.
Bank: $20
Roll 1: $3
For my board marker, I'm using ... a cat. So predictable. But I have very few knickknacks, so my options were limited. I wanted to use a small gecko bean bag, but alas he was still too big (or my board too small, but let's not go there).
Rolling my dice (which, at least, are a nice snazzy red), I got a 10, which puts me on space #15: Read a book with a tree (or trees) on the cover, or that is set in a mountain community. For this square, I'll be reading Cedar Valley by Holly Throsby
My game board, along with one of the two spectators, looking all dignified and as though butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Wait for it....
Wait for it...
aaannndddd there it is: I can't take it anymore - My turn to roll!
