I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
Peregrinations posted about this book, Speaking American: How Y'all, Youse , and You Guys Talk: A Visual Guide - Josh Katz (which I'm buying of course) and while researching it, I found it's tied to a quiz in the NY Times that will place you in the part of the country your dialect says you're from.
It's fun and I gotta say it correctly predicted my home state.
