I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
The Little Book of Hygge included instructions for making Danish woven hearts - used as ornaments or decoration at Christmas time. While I was out shopping today, I saw the paper store had a big basket of 'scraps' for sale. I bought a bunch and gave these a try. The results:
They were fun - I can see the hygge factor (although we had the air con on). I even had a sleeping cat curled up next to me while I made them. Drop the temperature about 20 degrees and make a hot chocolate/coffee/tea, and I think it'd be very hyggelig.
