I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday with some friends who spent enough years in the USA to want to continue the tradition here Down Under. So Saturday was our Thanksgiving, which makes today, Sunday, my black Friday and I honoured that ode to capitalism by attending my council library's quarterly book sale!
As always, with these kinds of book sales you never know what's going to be there and if you aren't there right when they open the doors you're likely to miss out, because it's like locusts on a cornfield. So none of these books were on my to-buy list, but they all looked interesting.
We have a neighborhood block party to attend in a few minutes, so all-in-all it's been a fabulous holiday weekend and I hope everyone else's was too!
