I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
I've finished my current "clean up an author" project today. I'm ready to tackle the next one, and a PM over the weekend from a BL friend pointed me in the direction of my next author:
J.R.R. Tolkien
His book list here is a mess - I found 2 copies of Harry Potter, two how-to-save-money books and a guide on diabetes listed under his name.
Now, the reason for my post is I realise that J.R.R. Tolkien's books are sacra scriptura to many, many people, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up.
I am researching editions based on ISBN/ASIN and will be relying on http://www.tolkienbooks.net as a primary source for all edition information and cover art. My secondary sources (I always use a minimum of 2) will vary based on what I stumble across in the BL db.
Please, please if you have any questions or requests or concerns or if you have an edition you know is rare/obscure or is an alternate cover for another editor, let me know (comments or PM's are fine). I really do not want to piss anyone off by making the book records look different to what they are expecting, but I also want to make the records as accurate as possible.
