Murder by Death

I've been dragging all week, and consequently, I'm running behind in everything.  Better late than never, right?

What arrived this week:

Death, Taxes, and Cheap Sunglasses - Diane Kelly:  This is a great mystery series - murder is rarely involved, and it has a definite chick-lit bent, it's also really well-written, fun and intelligent.

Dead Heat - Patricia Briggs - Already finished and reviewed this one.  4.5 stars.  Excellent!

Suspendered Sentence - Laura Bradford:  This is what happens when you keep lists and forget to update them.  I'd decided after the last book in this series I was finished - the MC was just too ernest and apt to martyrdom.  But I forgot to update my 'books to pre-order' and this one got ordered.  I'll read it - who knows?  Maybe the MC will act like a real human in this one.

Dark Debt: A Chicagoland Vampires Novel - Chloe Neill - I'm currently reading this one.  I love this series - it's so snarky!  

Murder Ties the Knot - Christy Fifield - I first saw this series and thought "this is going to be hokey" but it isn't, it's actually pretty good.  The parrot has potential to steal the show.

Got more books in than I read this week, as has been the norm since I've joined BookLikes.  My TBR was always under control when I was on GoodReads, but now, with BookLikes, well... y'all read too many good books!  ;)
