I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
I've been diagnosed with a sleep disorder and I'm in the process of trying to find the sleeping-pill script that works the best for me. By far the best results so far have been Ambien (known as Stillnox here in AU).
The only drawback? I read before bed and I've had to go back and re-read entire chapters every night this week because I don't remember anything. I'm going to be reading the same 300 page cozy (over and over again) for the next month at the rate I'm going.
