I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
An excellent book!
I was instantly drawn to the characters and Port Chatham, where the story takes place. The ghosts were likeable and the plot was great! The story is told via 2 distinct POV: the protagonist in the present day, with present day problems at hand, and from the past via the ghosts memories. I'm going to give it 4 stars only because the flashbacks were hard to read - I dreaded reading about the events that led up to the ghost's death. But in spite of that I seriously enjoyed this book and I've just pre-ordered the follow up, GHOST SHIP.
