I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
I can access feeds from Recorded Books. Woot! Woot!
The good news is that their export is already in .csv format, which cuts about 50-60% off of the time it takes to get them into BL, BUT... 2 3 big BUTS!:
1. While I can see the book summaries on the page, they don't come through in the feed;
2. No minutes / pages information comes through;
3. No image URLs
There's also the smaller issue of no punctuation in the titles, so I've seen titles with weird spacing where commas, etc. would normally appear. This will screw up auto-combining the editions with others in the system.
Still - Recorded Books offers access to audiobooks from some currently inaccessible publishers, like Tantor, Simon & Schuster, and Blackstone, so it's a win, even though the incomplete fields are making me gnash my teeth.
As for covers, you can use the URL: https://www.recordedbooks.com/title-details/ and append the isbn to the end, so, for example:
This will take you to the book page for that audio and you can click and drag the cover off that page, or right click on the image and download it. Unfortunately, they build the images on the fly, from the looks of it, so this cumbersome method is about as good as it gets.
So, the isbns that got added today are (in batches of ~10 each):
