I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
Things have been tense here at chez chat fou as I am glued to the National Hurricane Center's site waiting for news of my beloved home, and diving in to the books, shutting off reality has been a big relief, so books have been getting read and squares are being ticked off in anticipation for their call day.
Locked Room Mystery
The Dead Will Walk
Murder Most Foul
Squares called and read:
In the Dark, Dark Woods
A group read has started for our Classic Crimes read, and I might use that for my centre square - or I might stick with Bradbury's Graveyard of Lunatics, and I have a couple of anthologies dedicated to Locked Room Mysteries so my options for that are practically endless.
There's a chance I'll have to leave abruptly sometime next week (hopefully not) and will be offline for some time, so I'm going to concentrate the next couple of days on all of my shorter reads, to get as many squares um, squared away, as I can. Just in case.
