Murder by Death

I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.

Reading progress update: I've read 3 out of 293 pages.

Deck the Hallways - Kate Carlisle

"But if this cranky mood went unchecked, I was likely to turn into what my crew would call The Boss from, well you know where.  In other words, a really bad boss."

Hell.  The boss from hell.  It's not a swear word or vulgarity, it's a metaphysical place and can't be magically conjured up just because you say it.

Hell, hell, hell, hell, hell.

Gah!  Carlisle writes a good mystery, but this pandering to readers with snowflake sensibilities is inane.
