I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
I love Molly Harper's books, and this one is pretty good so far, but I can't get what is to me a huge logic fail out of my head.
I'm about a third of the way through the book and so far the reader is still watching Anna struggle to trust the vampire (Finn) she's stuck in the woods with. Now call me a soft touch but at the point at which anybody I've never laid eyes on before makes themselves my personal body armour and saves me from a plane crash, they have my trust forever.
There is no logic that can sustain her fear of Finn; any attempt to justify why he'd save her so selflessly and dramatically only to kill her later just fails.
Ok, now that's out of my system, maybe I can let it go and enjoy the rest of it.
