I read cozy and historical mysteries, a bit of Paranormal/UF, and to mix it up, I read science and gardening books on occasion.
Url Phantomhive recently posted about tracking her reading by country and US state. This was not a challenge she set for herself, but merely an effort to track where the books she was reading were taking her. I love this idea and she was kind enough to share the site she is using (here).
I'm going to do the same: track where my reading takes me, without making it a challenge. If I make it a challenge I'll start focussing on the countries/states I don't have instead of being chuffed with the place I have been.
This is for myself, but since you guys will see it on your feeds, I'll try to post updates only once a month or so, depending on my ability to remember.
Countries:
What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding:
The Netherlands
Russia
Iceland
Israel
New Zealand
Argentina
Brazil
Normally, I wouldn't count all those countries from one book, but this is a memoir of her travels, and the chapters concerning these places made you feel you were there with her.
United Kingdom (England): 84 Charing Cross Road
*France: Dawn of the Belle Epoque
States of the USA:
Florida: Blondes have More Felons, The Cat Sitter's Cradle
Montana: Crime Rib
Texas: Death, Taxes and Silver Spurs
Virginia: Keeping Mum
*Oregon: Meet Your Baker
*Tennessee: In Hot Water
*Nevada: Ghost of a Gamble
*California: Keeper of the Castle
*New Jersey: Inspector Specter
